I need to get a new AM audio processor. The two that I am conssidering are:

Inovonics Model 235

DSPXmini-AM

Any thoughts on the two? They are about the same price.

Thank you for insight.

I don't know if the DSP-Mini for AM is available yet. The 235 is not a loudness box, but it will get you on the air sounding good for what it is.

Is the DSPX a good product? Does anybody have experince with them?

Thanks.

Thanks.

It's a great product (I am biased). After months of production problems I am glad to report we are shipping the range again. 150 of them in the last six weeks in fact and we still have a backlog of orders.
Try it out, if you don't like it you can have your money back. We stand behind our products.

As for the AM, the software is not ready. The production issues on the DSPX range, staff moving on and a whole other bunch of problems halted software development for the latter part of last year until now. It's been a tough last six months but 2007 is going to be an exciting year for BW.

We are putting the final touches on the DSPXtreme hardware and then we are back on to software development and included in that is the eagerly anticipated AM version. I think May/June is a relastic date for beta software for the AM.

Take a look at the new look DSPXtreme at www.audio-processor.com/DSPXtreme-with-reflection.jpg
Come and see it in the flesh and have a play at NAB. We will also have a new range of RDS encoders and a few new transmitter models.

Thanks for your support

The DSPXtreme dual colour touch screen audio processor with intergrated divertisy delay pushed back AM development a little. The DSPXmini-AM will be shipping before xmas.

the DSPXtremes are now shipping.

We expect processor development to take a big leap forward in 2008 as we are in the process of expanding our processing department.
