Roughly 300 miles south of Chicago on the Ohio River (dividing Illinois and Kentucky). Hotel room using Sony SRF37. 9-10pm CST Just a few highlights....

570: WKYX LOCAL with a surprisingly weak signal.....which may explain why I haven't heard it in the Chicago area lately. Day signal was much better
650: WSM: Fair-weak convergence zone 120 miles northwest of Nashville
670: WSCR Strong but with Cuba underneath
740: CFZM mixing with KRMG, CFZM getting the better of it/
750L WSB blasting
850: CJBC with a good sigmal\
870: WWL with a fair signal, wobblrt audiblr underneath
1180: WHAM with Cuba underrneath
1200: WOAI strong
 
WSCR has really been struggling in central Ohio most times I've checked lately. Cuba's never ridiculously dominant, but it is giving WSCR as many problems on a consistent basis as I've heard in a while.
I feel like I'm just about on the outer edge of WOAI's skywave as well. I don't feel like I've heard it very well up here in ages.
 
As for 1180 WHAM Rochester, when you hear Spanish underneath, it might be Cuban stations or it might be Radio Marti, 100,000 watts in Marathon, Florida. I know the signal is pointed at Cuba. But who knows?

I'm now at our beach location near Pensacola (more on that in a future post). This morning at about two hours before sunrise, WSCR was strong and blowing out Cuba. I really didn't expect that, but about a half hour later, R. Rebeld was back on top. WBBM and WGN also strong.

As for WOAI here at rhe beach, it was in with a good signal. WHO and KMOX also with good signals. Mexico'd XEX and XEB doing better than usual here.

It's almost always the Cuban chorus. I guess Marti's not impossible but it's improbable

Like clockwork, WSCR was coming in moderately well here last night airing the Bulls game! Not surprised at all to see those others doing well in Pensacola. The few times I've visited, the Texas 50Ks were listenable to strong, including a weaker but present KTRH.
Agree with @gr8oldies that if any Spanish-language signal(s) on 1180 makes it this far north, it's probably Cuba. I remember Spanish-language programming owning 1180 on my last visit to northwest Florida day and night, and I just figured it was a Cuban purely because of Marti's directional pattern.

I really miss the remote SDR that used to be in Key West. It was the closest thing to hearing Cuba "like a local". Marti was strong on it even during the day, but the Cuban chorus was loud underneath.

KTRH rules 740 at night, Usually a signal that ranges from fair to good. Yesterday morning (2/3) around 4:00am CST, I was hearing music underneath. Possibly CFZM. but I couldn't ID it. "Next door" on 730, XEX was booming.
