AM broadcasting 3 tubes regenerative receiver.

Below some pics of my single regenerative receiver built about 2017. It features self-made brass chassis and fiberglass PCB, an RF amplifier (pentode ECF801), regenerative detector (triode ECF801), audio preamp (triode ECL85), audio ultralinear output stage (pentode ECL85) and NFB to triode cathode. Power transformer, audio output and coils including audio choke are homebrewed. Audio output transformer uses 77 lamination grain oriented from vertical TV output. Rectifier 6X4. Ebb about 170DCV.

Ferrite antenna coil feeds the RF and is rottable to search best output, as it lacks AGC mechanism.

I use it every morning to listen radio before waking up.

Thank you. There are more pics here: the dual gang tunes ferrite coil antenna and regenerative detector (vertical black tank). Also some underside showing PCB's and wiring, and finally a perspective. Also, a vintage dial scale.

Still more pics: the schematic made with ascii-art in my AMD486 running DOS7.10. Please use a bit of imagination :)

Almost all is recovered from thrash. Ciruja by nature. PCB and coils are done specifically for the project. Transformers and chassis too. But lots of recovered stuff in my junk.

Certainly, scanning through the page l saw that is more dedicated for proffesional people of transmiting plants. I am not such a guy. If anybody feel I am disturbing you, let me know and l'll stop posting. I don't want offend nobody.

Do any AM + HD Radio signals (most likely from the 50kW USA stations) get to your location (just wondered how your tube AM radio would cope with the added carriers)?

I'm in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sir. Local AM 790 Mitre and 630 Rivadavia are the usual I listen diarily. Local low power radios are unsoportable because of the politic content too peronist and populist. And some are very low technical quality offending my ears.
