Have you been able to DX Alaska on AM from your location? Anchorage is about 1400 miles away...

I believe there are some pretty solid signals from Alaska that can be heard in the Pacific NW. Some from Fairbanks should make it.

KENI 650 and KFQD 750, both 50kW from Anchorage should be DX possibilities, with a path mostly over sea.
Would Hawaii be a possibility? Few land obstructions in the path and the super conductivity of the Pacific Ocean.
About 2700 miles to Honolulu from NW Washington state.

I imagine you could get Hawaii on the west coast although I was never able to for the short periods I tried.
I had no problem getting Seattle & Vancouver in Hawaii.

Nothing from AK or HI. Just Lower 48 for me. Too many locals, too many stations in the way, and the dreaded I-Crap blocks AK from coming in.
