AM Frequency of the Week - 1040 kHz

Near Wellsville, NY on the NY/PA border...

Days
WYSL Avon, NY

Nights
WHO Des Moines, IA

* When WYSL is either off the air, or running at reduced power during daylight hours I can easily hear WNJE Flemington, NJ at my location.

Springfield, IL: As you can expect, it's WHO 24/7 in this part of the Midwest, albeit a fair signal in the car during the day (with local splatter from 1050 WDZ in Decatur added in).

Once in a GREAT while I get WHO from Central Mass-it seems there are a few nights that the hiss is not as strong. Got WHO in S Central PA and 30 mi N of Charlotte in October albeit faintly. No WHO in SW Fla...

KXPD (when they're actually on the air) and lots of BPL/plasma screen noise.

Here in High Bridge NJ is WNJE Flemington, from the same county I live in! It's the only AM station in Hunterdon County. I get it day and night, and WHO is no longer received, although you can hear it a little underneath at night. Before WNJE signed on the daytime regular was WZSK in Everett PA.
