AM Frequency of the week - 1070 KHz

In NW Washington State, it's CFAX, Victoria.

You usually won't get CFAX at night much further south of Port Angeles, WA. They are EXTREMELY directional (to protect KNX) In fact, in Mount Vernon, WA (just 40 miles east of Victoria, as the crow flies), CFAX doesn't even come in at all and KNX booms in. During the day, CFAX can be heard in downtown Seattle (with some splashover from KBLE 1050 and KPTK 1090.)

1070 here is a pretty dead frequency. There's no stations within 200 miles. WCSZ 1070 in the Greenville area is about the only one.

CFAX Victoria, BC. Nights it's a mix of that and KNX LA.

if KRLD has its splatter machine off I get 1070 from Wichita, KS

I also get WFNI frequently at night. They bring a big signal down here.
