AM Frequency of the Week: 1080

I've only caught KRLD one time around here, and that was about 15 years ago on a rainy day in early January 2007. This was probably around 6 p.m. our time, so before they went to the night pattern that nulls toward WTIC, and while the signal was never loud it was pretty listenable for 15 minutes or so. Later that night when I checked, nothing. Whenever I've checked since then, nothing.
Reports I've read here say KRLD is listenable as close to me as parts of Kentucky, so a few hundred miles southwest.

Were you ever able to get WMVR?
 
I heard it a few times, but it was always when I was in northwest Ohio visiting family. I never specifically tried to pick it up. I've read reports that WMVR made it to Columbus pretty easily, and with the directional pattern I have no problem believing that.

The pattern as I recall was north and east, but sharply nulled toward Indianapolis, to the point you could see the towers to the west on Russell Road and not hear the station

Last I knew they did, but honestly I haven't listed to WTIC in nearly a year - since the syndicated Clark Howard Show ended. That was the only thing I listened to regularly on WTIC. In fact I don't listen to AM radio on a regular basis anymore. I do a bandscan from time to time, but other than that I don't listen to AM.

Night - Usually WKJK Louisville KY - only 1000 watts at night but signal is directed to the southeast right towards Georgia
Sometimes hear KRLD in background
Critical Hours - WHOO Winter Park FL
