AM Frequency of the Week: 1110

Reynoldsburg, Ohio ...
* Daytime: A solid WGNZ ... not overpowering but quite listenable.
* Nighttime: WGNZ falls off the table at sunset and WBT comes in, measuring anywhere from very weak to moderately strong and listenable. It has to fight KMOX hash, however, but never slop from WTAM. WTAM is listenable at night here but never really strong.

From Citrus Heights, CA

Day & Night KLIB Roseville

In West Sacramento, I could null out KLIB to hear KDIS

When I lived in Vallejo, I could hear KDIS at Night

Now living in Citrus Heights, I can't null KLIB

In my Nor-Cal travels, at night I used to regularly hear KDIS...actually at that time KRLA. Primarily in and around San Jose, as well as in Napa Valley. Not a great signal, but generally reliable.

Years ago before Roseville went on the air I heard KRLA into Southern Oregon at night. KRLA (the 1110 one) put in a good night signal into the San Francisco bay area.

Yakima, WA
Daytime - very weak KBND Bend (News/Talk), sometimes nothing
Nights - KBND Bend (News/Talk) mixing with KFAB Omaha (News/Talk).
Also heard on 1110 - KRPA Oak Harbor (was Adult Contemporary...not sure if they are still on) and KRDC Pasadena (Radio Disney Country).

Wanted on 1110...
KLIB Roseville CA (Asian) - Never heard them even at sunset. This should be easy.
KAGV Big Lake, AK (Religious) - I heard religious music one early morning several months ago under KBND but I couldn't get an ID. This is 10KW and should get out.
XERED Mexico City (News/Talk) - Maybe during the next big aurora opening! They are 50kw at night.
