Crystal Lake, IL....40-ish miles northwest of downtown Chicago,
Days: 1120 is squeezed between splatter from WMBI from Chicago on 1110 and WISN from Milwaukee on 1130.
Nights: WMBI and WISN disappear and the 800-pound gorilla, KMOX, roars in. Easily one of the strongest and most reliable skywave signals around here.
I'm pretty comfortable in assuming that KMOX is probably present via daytime skywave here from time to time....especially in winter. But given the presence of good signals on both first adjacents, I've never heard it, Not that I've spent much time trying.
