WDOD did in fact surrender the license back in June. After first turning it in, they asked for the license to be returned because of a possible sale. That fell through and the license was deleted.
In Vermilion, OH: 1310 AM during the day is WDTW/Detroit with a progressive talk format with a semi-moderate signal along with some slop from WOBL 1320 from Oberlin, OH. At night it is a mish-mash of stations with no one station standing out and less WOBL slop.
This is one of the few frequencies here in central Ohio where I've heard nothing but static. It's sandwiched between WMVO from Mount Vernon and WLOH from Lancaster, not that those are particularly strong. Can't remember anything nighttime, either.
