AM Frequency of the Week 1660

Daytime mirrors TXPH97's experience. KRZI alone, but weak. I don't, however, receive Waco at night like he does. 1kW KWOD "The Bet" KC overtakes KRZI at night with a steady signal, just under a hundred miles due East of the Metroplex.

WWRV 1660 is the only log here on the frequency. Usually they're there day, night, SRS, SSS.
I would;ve thought that they would be a good New Jersey log for many, at least after they went there from 1530 as 'WJDM'. But there are now a bunch of 1660's across the 48 -- plus WWRV is directional 24/7 for some reason. Some here might know if the newborn WJDM 1660 began as directional.

(Onliest other NJ-licensed station I can think of in that tough-to-log state for those West would be 50,000 watter WWJZ on 640. When the roosters go off during sunrise in Mt. Holly. Their day pattern sends a lot of signal to the dark west in order to cover Philly. With NJ's population bulk being between NYC and Philadelphia, AM DX pickings must traditionally be lean from NJ. There never were any 50,000 omni's from that state. They even had to go through an obstacle course to get their lone VHF TV station, channel 9. )
