9 miles north of Sleepy Hollow, IL/40 miles northwest of Chicago, IL.....
Days: 1680 is usually empty except for occasional daytime skywave from WPRR from the Grand Rapids, MI area. The WPRR signal can become quite strong during both morning and afternoon critical hours.
Nights: WPRR drops to 680 watts and pretty much vanishes. Which somewhat surprises me. I'd expect 680 watts would still be enough to make the hop to my location with a listenable slignal.
Retro: I've also heard the 1680s from the Orlando area and Lindenwood NJ once or twice, but not recently.
