Has to be Radio Enciclopedia. All-female announcing staff (as far as I've heard).Last night here in NJ I picked up easy-listening piano music with a female Spanish-speaking announcer on 530, so that's from Cuba, with some other station underneath (CHLO?), on my Sangean DT-200X.
That stream's been iffy for a few weeks. Good for a few days, then gone for a few, rinse and repeat.I regularly receive 530 R. Enciclopedia here in Austin, Texas, area.
I've matched the OTA reception with the station's stream.
Unfortunately, the stream was down last night. Pressing the play button would result in nothing, while other Mexican station streams, ala 800 AM, were operating.
Yes, likely due to to Cuba's failing power grid, which has experienced several complete shutdowns over the past few months (and thus intermittently shutting down R. Enciclopedia's signal). That stream's been iffy for a few weeks. Good for a few days, then gone for a few, rinse and repeat.
No issue with KTSA's splatter as the station isnt' strong here. It's unimpressively weak. From NW San Antonio:
Sunset:
530 - R. Enciclopedia begins to come up.
540 - XEWA "Los 40" in San Luis Potosí starts to emerge amidst KTSA's splatter.
