AM Frequency of the week 550

DAY: weak KUZZ Bakersfield

NIGHT: Stronger KUZZ with KFYI Phoenix underneath

Retro: Decades ago KOY was on top at night, with KUZZ underneath

In central Maryland a weak, but steady, signal from Harrisonburg, VA's WSVA with a news/talk format. At night it's usually Buffalo, NY's WGR with sports programming that dominates.

Here in central Texas, north of Austin but south of Temple, TX, 550 KTSA is some weak player.
I remember it being a strong, all around station in the 90s.
Today, it doesn't seem to possess much power.

I see that its daytime coverage loses a lot of strength north of Austin, in the Round Rock area, about 30 minutes from me, so that may explain it.
