AM Frequency of the week: 570

Warminster PA(Philadelphia area):

Daytime: usually splatter from local 560 WFIL, sometimes WMCA from NYC(weak)
Night: WMCA(a little stronger)

During the day in S.A., a weak KLIF Dallas and a weak XEBJB Monterrey fight it out among some splatter from 580 XEMU. At night they both get significantly stronger but continue the fight. I can sometimes hear Radio Reloj in their null.

One time last November after my local sunset, I logged "Great Country" KGRT in Las Cruces, NM. Never heard it since.

I am wondering if the relative weakness of KLIF over Houston and San Antonio might have something to do with the missing tower. They did great in Houston in the 90's, almost on a par with KTSA, with KLVI always being the strongest of the 3 in a row. They did very well when I first moved to Houston, but have seemed weaker the last couple of years.

Here in Port Alexander, AK at night 570 at least used to be a weak KVI, back when they still had a music format. They're now news/talk/sports, right? Haven't heard them in years now, not that I've tried tuning so low anyway.

KVI Seattle is news/talk. They were oldies for a brief time around 2011, and were music back in the 1980s as well.
