From NW San Antonio:
Day: It's XELRDA (formerly XEMU) in Piedras Negras, 129 miles to my SW at 5 kW with a fairly strong signal.
Sunset: WIBW starts coming up and XELRDA begins to undergo groundwave/skywave cancellation.
Night: XELRDA drops to 2.5 kW and is less stable. WIBW mixes in and sometimes takes over. XEAV "Canal 58" in Tlaquepaque occasionally pops up underneath. On rare occasions, I've heard a weak KJMJ in Alexandria, LA. Aiming NW/SE I can null XELRDA out fairly well and sometimes hear KUBC in Montrose, CO, and KRFE in Lubbock, TX.
Sunrise: Similar to nighttime with XELRDA stronger.
DX/Retro: I logged XEFI in Chihuahua one night four years ago and surprisingly never again.
