Sounds like a wine tasting to me.jd said:In Texas about 80 miles southeast of Dallas, daytime is Shreveport's KEEL with a fairly decent signal. At night it's a mixture of KGNC Amarillo (usually on top) and KCMO Kansas City, with just a hint of KEEL.

gr8oldies said:In Dayton, pre-IBOC, I still could get WOR if I nulled out WLW. When I lived in Quincy IL in 1985 and 86 I listened to WHB which was playing oldies. The signal was only available during the day. In Knoxville I've only heard WOR.
Actually, I knew that, just a momentary loss of knowledge.DavidEduardo said:Icangelp said:When that happens, I can hear both WOR & what I assume to be Cuba on 710. Don't think it is Miami/Marti. Last time I tried, was back in '09.
Miami is not "Martí" and never has been... Martí has always been on 1180, and has some programming on 540 from an airborne transmitter.
710 WAQI is Radio Mambí (Mahm-beé).

Eventually, as you go east, the splatter from WGN overpowers it. At night, the signal basically rides up and down I-35 from Texas to Minnesota. For 5kw, it does a fine job in Duluth as well as in Austin.
