If you are in the SE (Charleston SC and not Charleston, WV) it's likely that you are hearing the Caracas, Venezuela, station (RCR, short for "Radio Caracas Radio") which runs (unless the current economy has made them cut back) 100 kw non-directional.
For the curious, there are two instances of "Radio" in the name because (until Chavez took it over) there was also a Radio Caracas Televisión... so the very heritage Radio Caracas added "radio" at the end of the name. The one I never understood was 1300 AM in the Dominican Republic which, for 20 years or so, was called "Radio Radio."
