Just thought I would this re. CKLW's night signal. Spent Sunday night and some of Monday at Put-in-Bay, and while switching around the clock radio around 9 p.m. Sunday, the *only* AM signal I picked up was WJR. Not the most selective receiver, of course, but I think it gives some background as to the directional qualities of CKLW's night signal pretty much right across the lake from its towers.
Daytime, it came in well once I got back in the car at Port Clinton, but not as well as I remember it in Toledo. I believe that is pretty much right in the heart of its southbound null.
