KSRM Soldotna, Ak 5kw Non D 24/7 from 300 miles away just peels the paint here.. ive only once heard something else i could id.. KVIN 920 Ceres/Modesto, CA

From Pickerington, Ohio, it's local WMNI. Mediocre signal at best given how directional WMNI is at all hours.
At 1,000 watts daytime and 500 at night, it sends virtually no signal anywhere but due north. I've heard it driving along the Ohio Turnpike between Toledo and Sandusky, yet it comes in quite poorly as close as Pickaway County. It's pretty much gone here at night, about 15 miles due east of their tower farm that is located on the southwest corner of the 71/270 interchange in Grove City.

Same here.

I picked up CKNX in Hampton Roads, VA, really well last night, Monday 10/24/22! The news staff was talking about the Canadian elections, and I heard a pretty cool instrumental country/Americana song by a group called Western Swing Authority...

Cordelia:
We visited relatives in Norfolk often. One night on their identical Zenith console radio to ours back in Queens, I caught a pretty good signalled WMMN from West Virginia. Effortlessly.
They've recently cut back, to one tower and 200 omni watts at night. But in those days they were 5000 24/7, with a huge directional lobe southeast, at you.
Their still-current 5000-omni day pattern could be another catch for you one night when you drag in the sunset, or some SRS when you're making eggs and grits.
Or whtever they have for breakfast in Dixie by you. :-}

Western Detroit suburbs:

1st adjacent to 50kw WFDF 910, so not much these days.

Retro: Before WFDF moved its transmitter south into the Detroit market, 920 KHz was home to a TIS located at Detroit Metro Airport. This was WPDE847, and got out better than one would expect. The license is still active, although it hasn't been on the air in at least 20 years. One of the few TIS's not operating on a traditional TIS frequency (530 KHz or expanded band).

Yes, that station had a good signal into Ohio. We're playin' the hits, Fairmont. (see my previous comment)
