AM Frequency of the Week - 960 kHz

I get a faint signal from WSBT South Bend in Gary, IN. At night, WNTD's 950 signal is much stronger at night, & splatters over 960. How can that be? It's simple people. WNTD Chicago broadcasts at 1kw ND during the day from the top of the Midland building around 15th St & Western Ave. in Chicago. Their signal isn't that strong on the Indiana side during the day. At night, they're broadcasting at 5kw directional from a 6 tower site in Burnham, IL (3-5 miles from Hammond, IN), with most of the signal going north & south. So where it's Grade B during the day is Grade A at night in much of Lake County Indiana.
