Ok, since Buckeyes2001 brought up something similar on FM, here's one for AM
What have you heard on any AM frequency from ~520 to ~1710 kHz that's NOT divisible by 9 or 10 kHz? Stations assigned to those but a few Hz or more off, like 940 in Mexicali, don't count. Nearby splatter doesn't either - this disqualifies my reception of KFI with a Tecsun tuned to 643, for example. (That's how I listen to KFI, due to an internal het on 640 that zero-beats at 643.)
Overload products are permissible, though - for example my reception of the 397-SB NDB on its 2nd harmonic of 794 kHz when I was near their transmitter once.
Ideally, responses would be similar to reception of 555-ZIZ, from the Carribean, or similar. I haven't logged that one yet, and I may have heard it's currently silent?
