Usually I get splash from local area Seattle station KOMO 1000 and a weak CBW Winnipeg. On rare occasions I hear KATD Pittsburg, California. Rarer occasions XECL Mexicali, a.k.a. "Rocola", with their cool sounding Spanish language versions of US & UK classic pop hits. I think XECL are still on the air, although I haven't heard them in a while.

XECL was a sunrise regular for me in Laramie, WY one of the mroe regular ones form that area.

Orange County, TX on 990 it's KZZB all the time. They've been MIA for at least the past week of so. With them off I've been getting a Spanish station and several others that I haven't been able to ID using either long wire or Terk. Sounds like a graveyard freq.

This morning, I was on 990 with CBW nulled beginning at 5:10 CDT (about 45 minutes before local sunrise). Finally after a few mornings of trying, a breakthrough. WNML... pesumably after powering up to 10kw Non-directional day pattern, Weak, but steady for about ten minutes before disappearing back into the chorus of even weaker signals (and what was left of CBW). 485 miles. C Crane Skywave.

Well, I had to do SOMETHING. I didn't want "Mrs, Cyberdad" to realize that I was DXing in order to keep awake during a borning fundraising dinner. :)
Cool idea. I don't like a lot of the stuff my wife listens to on Sirius/XM. She had a rather wild BFF that got her listening to Album Rock on WRIF back in the 1970s. Fortunately, she didn't also get her on drugs and premature sex as well as Rock and Roll like her friend. The BFF moved away before that could happen. Personally, I preferred WXYZ-FM when they simulcasted WXYZ.

I was joking. It was a black tie optional dinner....so I showed up wearing a red tie. That's all. BUT my wife is the Sirius/XM addict in the house...or more correctly the car....and some of the stuff she puts on is a little hard to take. I like Andy Cohen, Oprah, etc.....but not several hours worth,

It's the Garth channel with my wife, but they play a lot of other music, and not all country.
