Am I glad I ain't going through Denver again!

Well. right now. Sounds pretty much like April when I got stuck for one day, although this one looks like it's a two-three day-er deal.

So how is the media handling coverage?
______________

The big storm dude! You know, the one that dumped 18 inches of snow on you on Sunday and Monday?

I'm glad I didn't have to be in that stuff again. Remember, I was there in April, hadn't planned to stay, was just trying to make a bus connection to St Louis(Greyhound), but the CO Transportation Department closed all the Interstates, thus leaving me to stay at the Best Western Central, it was the cheapest that I could find that sounded reasonable.

Anyways, Did the Media keep up on top of it.
______________

WHAT big storm? Most of the snow missed the Denver Area. Can't speak for Colorado Springs & Pueblo. All 5 Denver stations with news departments didn't really have to do much beyond send words scrolling across the bottom of the screen and show a radar picture and send a reporter or two up in the hills and (maybe) the western suburbs.

If you saw the Bronco game on FOX, it was more rain than anything.

Cheers for now :)

Gotta agree--this storm was nothing special. I got 1-2" at my house in the tech center. Radio and TV coverage was pretty standard-issue for a storm of this magnitude.
______________

Yeah... I got about 12 inches in Aurora but it was slow and steady snow. Took nearly 24 hours to dump that much. This was a mild storm. Snow was 90% melted in 48 hours.

ZERO inches here in Commerce City, well, maybe just enough "dust" on the cars to make us use our wiper blades once or twice in the morning...
