Am I the only one bored with DFW radio?

What a bunch of haters! Most of the posters here are in the industry; if you don't like what you hear DO SOMETHING about it. Don't just migrate away to other music sources and then bitch and moan when you don't like what you hear on the airwaves.

A full 99.997% of the posts here are negative people bitching, many who got fired, and most who would not say the things that they type here to your face if they were not hiding behind their keyboards. It would be difficult if not impossible to break that culture.

I don't work for radio either. I'm a listener saying what I truly feel. Say what you want, but it is what it is...

I enjoy PHC on KERA, the car-talk shows (three different ones!) ...
...KKXT is really sounding good now. I'm hearing a lot more great songs, and some interesting new things on KKXT.
So, sorry for all you guys who are burned out on format-radio... I still find things to amuse me.

That I do agree with you on. How about "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" on KERA-FM? That always keeps me amused on weekends. ;D

Nine years ago, I set up a mass gathering for people on this board to do that very thing, swap ideas, complain, etc. FOUR of us showed up that Saturday afternoon at Wizard's in Richardson. I daresay the same thing would happen again today...too many people like to hide behind a cloak of anonymity. I do "get" that in some cases, but if you're going to take a stand on something, give it some credibility by posting your name. In my case, putting my name with every post keeps me honest and willing to stand by what I say.
