Am I the only one that enjoys BDH?

I love him. He's cerebral & informative. I appreciate his dry, sarcastic sense of humor. His topics are varied--from serious & political to trivial pop culture & celebrity gossip. He gets some decent guests. He really knows his music, too.

It doesn't suprise me, however, that the listeners of 105.3 aren't down with BDH.

He's sandwiched between morning wacky zany followed by redneck misogyny.

Apparently there are more of "us" (BSH fans) than we suspected. He's being syndicated......Wooohooo!!

There is still the question of just how many stations will pick him up. No matter. He will be gone from mid-days soon, and I can relegate him to that category of mind-killing programs I no longer have to endure, like Access Hollywood and Girls Gone Wild infomercials.

BDH has his moments. I am going to miss his crosstalks with Jagger. I can just imagine Jagger in his mind just begging for BDH to rap up his points.

I don't know about anyone else, but I still haven't heard where BDH is going on LIVE...there is no way Russ will allow it to bookend his show, he likes mindless dribble like Leykis...Plus BDH has syndication in the works, something Russ failed at.....Hmmmmmmm.

It won't mean a thing to Russ, because he will be gone from KLLI in the near future. There's no way in hell he will be able to bring in an audience now, given his legal troubles.

How does BDH go from being a "not ready for prime-time" player at 105.3 to a national syndication deal with Rick Dees' company?????????????????

You say that like we have any evidence that Rick Dees is a good judge of radio talent.

Rick has been successful himself for years, and even survived Disco Duck. It does not mean, though, that he has any idea how to spot or nuture other radio talent.

Perhaps you can list all the big names that Rick has discovered and fostered in the past?

I guess that explains Gavin's keen eye for talent! (Yes, that is sarcasm at its finest) Gavin can brag about all of his awards all he wants, but i think that move just proved he's not in Vegas anymore!! You snooze, you lose!!
