whose radio has not been on 99.7 since the station quit being Power 99? Man, that was a great station. I have not listened to 99X for one minute (other than the time I tuned it and it had been changed. I left the station and haven't been back since.)

Based on this posting and where is Virgin Murray going despite the fact he has been gone several weeks if not months, I think you might be Rip Van Winkle. Never listened to 99x in all these years?

No, he is not the only one. I also have absolutely no use for 99.7 since it became "99X." It's just not a music format I care for. Some call it "alternative music." I call it "alternative TO music." ;D But that's just me. I'm older than their target demo anyway. But then, I am older than the target demo for CHR...yet I like it. Go figure...

Am I the only one who has never heard anything on the FM band? I mean, if they're not playing Tommy Dorsey I have no use for it. And also, what's up with Mamie Eisenhower's new hairdo?

Did yall hear the Winston Company has a new automobile/buggy that is going to try and make it from San Francisco to NY (circa 1903).

I am not sure I trust Ike's VP either. He seems real tricky to me. I think the senator from Massachusetts has a good chance in beating him.

A buddy made this thing the other day out of rock. He called it a "wheel." He said it'll revolutionize the world.

You might not be alone. If you aren't into their music, why would you listen? I can't say I've tuned into The River for more than a song, in spite of their great ratings. If I hadn't married a closet redneck, I wouldn't even know where Kicks was on the dial.

As for 99.7, I didn't move here until it was 99x. I loved the station up until a few years back. Lately I tend to move around the dial much more.
