Based on current formats, here's my (APPROXIMATE!) wishlist for local field strengths at my approximate location (32° 46' N, 116° 57' W) for AM reception:
(only stations / frequencies for which I believe would be a major change will be noted, also only daytime groundwave reception. Also, if not sure, will specify +/-XdB)
550 KUZZ - 0.8mV/m
560 KBLU - 1.5mV/m
580 KMJ - 0.7mV/m
620 KTAR - 1.2mV/m
670 KIRN - 25uV/m
710 KSPN - +6dB
740 KBRT - move to 730, up to 50kW (night 10kW from transmitter near Salton Sea) (XEEBC moves to 780, directionalizes south at night)
740 KCBS - 1.0mV/m
760 KFMB - +12dB
790 KABC - +6dB
870 KRLA - 1.5mV/m
970 KNWZ - 1.6mV/m (or +20dB)
980 KFWB - 1.5mV/m (or +18dB)
990 KTMS - 2.0mV/m
1090 XEPRS - +8dB
1110 KDIS - if they go back to C-Quam, then 50mV/m. If not, stay as is.
1130 KSDO - 0.4mV/m (to make it easier to receive KDIS, c-quam or iboc or not)
1180 KERI - 0.85mV/m
1280 KFRN - 3.2mV/m
1290 KZBN - 1.2mV/m
1300 KROP - 2.0mV/m
1320 KKSM - 1.2mV/m
1350 KTDD - 0.8mV/m
1390 XEKT - move back to 1380
1450 KFSD - move to 1440 (the Riverside station would go to 1450), 8mV/m
1520 KVTA - 1.2mV/m
1560 KNZR - 0.8mV/m
1570 KPRO - 1.8mV/m
1580 KBLA - 5uV/m
1580 KMIK - 10mV/m
1590 KKZZ - 2.5mV/m
OK, though, since that probably most likely WILL NOT happen, what type of antenna would be good to use so that it would appear that the stations would have those field strengths? (note that there are some that I greatly reduce that are next to or co-channel with ones I want to hear better)
