AM Stations and the holiday

Gotta love the AM stations on the holidays. WATR 1320 is running the JONES Good Time Oldies Network non-stop until 6PM. (Skipping the local shows Tom Chuter/Bob Sagendorff and Talk of the Town).

WMRD 1150 is running automated music instead of Bob Muscatell's show.

WICC 600 has a fill-in host for Bob LaBarca, who's playing music.


And the idotic Spanish Bible Thumper Station in Southington has digital distortion on its signal.

Is it "idiotic" only because YOU are not a fan? I bet that "idiotic" station is raking in the bucks!

Note; traditiionally, Memorial day is "soft." If you've got a bird, give the staff OFF. That's radio! Go back to sleep and you won't notice it.
