AM stations- doubling up.

It is interesting to note hat the FCC data base still has the Tecate AM listed as being at 1380, although it has been operating at 1390 for a number of years now. I think 1380 is a better frequency for it. Also, the application for a new AM in Lemon Grove on 1400 does not take into consideration Tecate being on 1390 either, as they are obviously using the FCC data base for calculations.
 
Yes, and XETRA-AM (now XEWW) is at 50kw. The FCC database is way out of wack. I use Fred Cantu's Mexico Radio and TV site, http://www.mexicoradiotv.com.

I like Fred; remember seeing him on the TV about ten years ago. Class act.
