For years here in the Montgomery market (Montgomery-Wetumpka-Prattville-Pike Road), AM sign-off/power-change in March and September has been 6 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST), non-advanced, except for AM1250 in Wetumpka which has always been 5:45 p.m. CST, and AM1210 which has been 5:45 p.m. CST since its move into the market from Ozark a few years back. I have made the observation by looking at the AM Queries on FCC.GOV that all of the Montgomery market stations have had their "sunset" times for March and September redefined as 5:45 p.m. CST, rather than 6 p.m. CST. There is one exception: WIQR AM1410 in Prattville remains at 6 p.m. CST for local sunset. Has anybody in other markets experienced any changes in their licensed "Local Sunrise and Local Sunset" for their AMs? Does anybody have any idea why this may have been done?
