AM to FM

thinking about WJJL and the more mature aged ownership ( the old guys) may not have considered an FM translator or actively pursued a frequency as AM served its audience... or they didn't know how to accomplish that goal...

but what AM stations would benefit to an FM counterpart?
I recently discovered 105.5 Lancaster / am1300.
