Noticed on 1420AM WDJA Delray Beach the other day that Dave Ramsey, etc. has been replaced by foreign-language programming (Creole, I think). DOes anyone know if this is a format change, or just a long-form block-programming deal? I noticed that sister station WJBW 1000AM still carries Ramsey & other Financial Talk...
If it IS a Block show, they must be getting lots more than they were for the other brokered-time shows they had (most of which were pretty bad).
Anyone know/think anything?
 
This caught me eye and ear, too. I read - I think today - somewhere! - that WDJA had been sold by Richard and Pablo Vega. For $2M. I thought this was a James-Crystal station but apparently, not. I think the Vega's used to own hispanic/borkered WOCN, Miami but sold a year or two back. I'm guessing new owners are taking it FT ethnic brokered.
