Is this station really running a full time comedy format? Is it just a feed of what's on Sirius? I'll be out there late next week and plan to check it out, I was just surprised that a medium market like the Field would have such a station.

Surprised there is no ESPN outlet there any longer. FSR has held on though.
 
Well, Bakersfield is close enough to Fresno, with a fulltime 50,000 watt ESPN affiliate at 940. And Bakersfield does an ESPN affiliate... as in ESPN Deportes 1490.
