The Hometown Morning Show will go on without Amadeus. I can't help but think back on those old WAPE days with Hoyle Demsey and the Morning Zoo and everything seemed to click so well. Fast forward to today and from the listener's ears you just can't fake friendship. It's obvious there was chemistry between Steve, Eden & Amadeus. So much is changing. According to the T.U., the door has been left open for Amadeus to do something else. I hope that is true and I do hope you have options to do something you like. I wish you the very best, you deserve it.

I've known Amadeus for years (although it's been a while since we talked) & he's a great guy. Heck, when I first met him, he was working in the produce dept. at Publix (JTB/A1A, I think). It's sad to think about what's happened to our venerable profession.
The station renewed Eden Kendall and Steve Sutton's and chose to let Amadeus contract expire. No Job, you've been fired!
"He's been a friend to the radio station," Spurgeon said. "These are extremely tough decisions to make." I can't imagine the remaining team members can't be happy, they've been together for a lifetime!
Eden, Steve and Amadeus actually was the leverage that moved Gator country from nothing to a top rated Jacksonville station. Heres your reward..
Managements bonuses are paid on profits, If you can't hit budgets through sales, you cut expenses. Renda Broadcasting also chose to stop streaming years ago. While smart phone/Iphone users search for content from their phone, like you and I breath cutting streaming seams dumb and very short sighted!
