Is all sports 94.1 coming Sept 1st? Hmmm??

Where is that from? Would Cumulus be willing to go after Clear Channel with FM sports?

They made a half-hearted attempt in Nashville with "106.7 The Fan" back in 2004 going against Citadel's "104.5 The Zone". I think it had only one local show and eventually changed into a CHR. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with 94.1, since nothing ever seems to work with this frequency.

94.1 has been Country before in its long history of existent and with the current ownership they are grasping at straws competing against B105. They might as well go with sports since Cumulus is partners with CBS Radio's new sports network who will have Boomer Esiason on in morning drive from WFAN in NYC.

There is plenty of content (CBS Sports).

Then one of the CC sports AM stations goes..... all comedy.

There is something seriously wrong in this town when someone as talented as Amanda can't get a gig. She does a super job and is also great to work around. Amanda, I wish you the very best!

Cumulus now owns 104.5 The Zone, as they bought out Citadel last year.

The CBS Sports Network starts 9/4, but just with hourly sports updates. They start actual programming January 2, 2013.

It sure sounds like a format change unless they are just content on running a jock less Country Jukebox. They could always bring back DJ 94..

What network would they carry since Clearly CC Has Fox Sports exclusively for either 1360/1530 form now to eternity. and ESPN for either station

Yahoo Sports Radio is 3rd string sports network and Both CBS Sports Radio and NBC Sports Radio are unproven commodities when they start up

Yahoo! Sports is already offered on WMOH 1450, which is technically considered part of the Cincinnati market, even if nobody can pick up the station south of Hamilton.

so then either the Cloud would have to steal ESPN from 1530 (But the Cloud has a Working agreement of sorts with CC with CC Providing the Streaming Service for the cloud stations) so i cant see the clound wanting to try to piss off CC that much to steal espn from CC. So if the Cloud was to go all Sports on 94.1 they would have to go with unproven CBS or NBC then for its national package

Also expect no or little promotion with no air talent, and B105 to continue to be the dominate country station in this market.

That poor PD can be shown the door pretty quickly, too, so it doesn't matter if he came from a country station or not. If they decide to flip to sports (which I absolutely believe will happen) either he learns how to program sports or sadly becomes a casualty. They aren't going to retain a format just because they just hired a PD.
