Amarillo Rhythmic Battle

I am amazed on how good both 93.1 The Beat and 96.9 KISS FM sound musically!

93.1 The Beat is a Cumulus station, but yet is programmed locally with local jocks and excellent imaging; something you don't typically see/hear on a Cumulus station.

96.9 KISS FM is owned by GAP, and although they report as CHR, they are definitely rhythmic-leaning playing Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Kelly Rowland and many more.

They both seem to be pretty up-to-date on new music, and I noticed The Beat has more variety playing local music and songs that work for the market. KISS reminds me of a CC KISS CHR and has local jocks and programming all day. I've been streaming both and although KISS has an excellent high quality stream, The Beat's music and imaging has been more fun to listen to. Can't lie though, I'm a jingle man and I love the jingles on KISS! This is one of the only markets where I can't pick my favorite.

Currently, The Beat has a comfortable lead with a 6.3 while KISS isn't too far behind with a 5.6. I'll do a punch war soon in this post comparing them musically, but which one is your favorite?
