How does this "quote" thing work? I have tried to do it in the past and I never get it right....anyhow, thanks for asking, school blows ass, I am in a critical thinking class and I apparently can't think critically. I don't get ANY of the assignments, I could care less about half the crap they are trying to teach me and I am just not absorbing anything. Everything might as well be in a forgeign language cuz' I just don't get it.
My other class is going OK I suppose. I am in the middle of writing an expository essay and I am having a little trouble with that because I am having to follow an outline (that I created) to write my final essay. Since it has been more than ten years since I was in school, I have had to start over, none of my previous college credits transfer. DO NOT GET A DEGREE IN COMMUNICATIONS!!! You'll be living with your parents when you are 40 and your college degree is worthless!!! Let this be a lesson....unless you are gonna be a Doctor, Lawyer or Engineer. My daughter and I might actually end up at Oklahoma State University at the same time, that's cool, we'll share a dorm room.

Okay so back to the original post...I heard the cancellation of the Amber Alert also. I swear it was McCarty, I paid attention this time.....and I also have a beef with the Amber Alert, I understand they issue one when a child goes missing, I think it's a great thing. I think it is abused (that might not be a good word). I hear too many alerts where the child has been taken by a non custodial parent or (like last night) a possible (alleged) rebellious teenager. (I have no clue what the circumstances of the missing 17 year old girl was so forgive me if I am wrong) I was 17 once (imagine that). I pulled the "I will show them" routine and not come home until the next day. My parents freaked and were on the verge of alerting the media but come on, the alert last nigt was issued 5 hours after the teenage girl went missing. Again, I don't know the circumstances etc, I just think it's (the alert) is overused.
BTW...Tell Jay I said hello. Last time I spoke with him, I was in rehab in Vegas. I lost all my phone numbers when my old phone crapped out (God, I loved that phone too!!)
