Amber alerts on the radio

Thursday morning before 11am, all the radio stations in the Jackson carried an Amber alert for a boy who was kidnapped from Lamar County (later found safe in Madison County). This is the first time I can recall an Amber alert aired on radio. Did all other stations in Mississippi carry it at the same time?
 
Amber Alerts are part of the EAS. MHP can initiate Amber Alert messages through the EAS when the need arises.
