Anyone else loose sat carriers Friday night? I lost everything except Citadel XDS. Our comapny's other sites all within 100 miles all had the same issue. Outage included Westwood One, Clear Channel, and Dial Global at least.

Can't find any news or statements about it. My guess is SES will come out with a statement once they have had some meetings and find a way to type the statement so it sounds like it was a good thing.
 
Speakerman, What model Victoreen counter do you have? I got the whole kit when we emptied the fallout shelter at a bank building several years ago. 3 counters several dosemeters and a couple of chargers for them. Never been used, kinda cool.

Cool option on the XDS - switches to stream when sat carrier dies. Was it on the stream?
 
Very well could have been. I was on my way out of town for vaccation. Won't be back until weekend. Cant immagine what this would have been to take out stations in Johnstown, Altoona, and State College at the same time except a satellite failure.

I have a 6B that is in really good shape. The only thing I had to do to get it working well was to Cramolin the pots and exercise them. It picks up the meters on my R-390A at 1ft. I picked mine up at Dayton a few years back.
