America One....two hours and then another infomercial....

Who's in charge of programming at America One? Why is there a infomercial on every two or three hours? The average TV watcher doesn't want to see that, so they turn away. Can't they just stuff them all into one block late at night like the big boys do? If they did that, They might would beat MyNetworkTV and ION in some areas.

First I turned off America One. Then came MyNetworkTV. Then ION. Now RTV. Next THiS.

The program guide gets easier and easier to read each month.

I'm only familiar with America One after watching it years ago on a small independent station in East Hampton, NY. From what I recall, they aired quite ribald programming late at night - and I think it was A1 programming!

Suffice it to say, I had no idea it was still around. You have to do what you have to do to survive, I suppose.

Anyone know if UATV is still on the air? I remember sampling them during the transitional period before Channel 68 in Newark, NJ flipped to the new Telefutura network in the early '00's. Also, IIRC, UATV was the network that had proposed a new reality show starring O.J. Simpson.

I have never watched anything on America One aside from
Canadian Football League games.
