American Dance on Czech republic Dance stations

Been listening to the european Dance stations again, and noticed that in the Czech republic, the dance-Top 40 stations are playing a good amount of American Dance hits, from American Dance labels, as well as Modern Rock, both from the U.S and U.K. Definately not limited to Czech music. If you get a chance, check out Radio Deejay 99.7 at www.radiobonton.cz/ Which is (Dance-Rock-Top 40)But leans on Dance, also check out Helax fm 93.7 here www.helax.cz Which is kinda similar to Radio Deejay, but also resembles z-1035 (slightly) Minus the reggaeton, which is good for me, Both stations do play a Small bit of Czech Music, so dont freak out if one Foreign song comes on, there wont be many. Not an over abundance of Urban on either station, though they play the big hits.

Nice find, will have to check this out. Thanks.

> Oh, Dont thank me. If it wasnt for Chrles list of Dance stations from Europe, I would never have known either station exists. You should check out the (INTERNET RADIO Streamers) board, you will find several lists of Chrles dance stations---as well as Top 40 stations, from all over the world there. Just go back to about Page number 7 or 8 on the Internet radio streamers board, and look for the muliple posts, that are Radio station lists. It would be cool if he had his own website, that lists all those stations in one place, without digging them up. There are Hundreds of Dance stations, and Dance friendly Top 40 stations listed there.

If you like those stations, you will also like www.katrafm.com in Bulgaria, It is a Top 40 station that leans very heavily on dance, but more Rhythmic stuff than the Czech stations. Katra fm used to have really bad buffering issues, that went on for years, but it is finally stopped, and has a clear and Solid stream now, and it can be played with all 3 players too, Not sure about Itunes though, but it has a nice Winamp (mp3 pro) stream, as well as a 64k WMA, and a 44k Real One stream. This station is on his list, but it doesnt mention about it being a Dance Heavy top 40 though.

Actualy I've been here a long time, and I look forward to his posts. He knows how to dig the rare streams up and they rule because of the time and effart he puts into them! A site devoted to his lists would be awsom.

Yay! someone else took notice of this fact :_)

A BiG Thank You To Both of you

Thanks for the kind words you guys.
Midwestclubber, you can always easily find most of my lists on the International section, like this page of Europe:
http://www.radio-info.com/mods/posts?Board=europe

And thanks to Sambuca and some of the other board mods, my list of European Dance stations has been stickied over on the Internet Radio Streamers board. This enables me to constantly edit and add the stations on that list:

Bonton Radio Deejay reminds me of the old days of the original Radio Deejay, the one from Italy. Italy's Radio Deejay was very famous in the 80s to mid 90s as being very Dance friendly, and for being the most listened to station in Italy. I think it's still the most listened to, but it's nowhere nearly as Dance friendly as it once was. It still has daily shows like the legendary "Deejay Time", and lots of good weekend Dance shows.

I've recently noticed that one of Belgium's leading CHRs, Radio Contact, has gone all-day at night. There's 3 Radio Contact in Belgium - one for the French part, one for the small German area, and one for the Dutch/Flemmish speaking territory. The Flemish Radio Contact is the one that goes all-dance from like 8 PM to 6 AM Belgian time:

Radio Contact, All Over the Flemish speaking (Dutch) part of Belgium (Recurrent-Friendly)
