American Gramaphone

I also just scored some rare American Gramaphone material "used" that will work GREAT for my new Sunday morning New Age/Ambient music program "The Sunday Breeze," which debuts this Sunday at 11:00AM EST. I have to concede I never was a HUGE New Age guy back in the day, but there is something about that music that reminds me of Al Santos' classic "Sunday Jazz Brunch" program that aired on WLTT 94.7FM in the late 1980s. It was music made for Sunday mornings enjoying the crisp blue sky and the gentle breeze!! Armando, if you are out there, brother, THANKS SO MUCH again for posting those classic airchecks a few months back. They truly brought back so many great memories for me of a time in my life when things were SO much easier. And I was absolutely mystified as to the quality of the WMBW airchecks. I know that was a lot of work, and my thanks to you, spiritof67, and Smooth Guy (haven't heard from you in awhile, Randy---HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL).

Chris, thanks so much for appreciating the music. I have a WLTT/Al Santos; Sunday Jazz Brunch Holiday/Christmas show I would like to post. The quality isn't great but it is certainly different from any set of holiday music one can find anywhere.

GREAT, Armando! The "older" recordings off of tape have great character. Can't wait! I just could NOT believe the quality of the WBMW stuff. It was as if you had a digital recorder for those.

Chris
