American Idol - did anybody notice this?

Last night the 4th judge said multiple times that she could "..hear that playing on the radio..." or that she felt like the singer could "have a hit on the radio".

It made me think about how connected radio and AI should be - and I mean more than just Ryan Seacrest is a radio guy, on a TV show.

We play the hits, and yet the new judge is the first person I remember even mentioning hits on the radio.

Anybody else find that interesting?

And of course - was anybody else watching Amercian Idol?
 
I have not watched Idol much in 2 or 3 years but the judges have mentioned it plenty of times in the past. Well, ok, Randy and Simon have mentioned it plenty of times in the past. Paula may have mumbled something incoherently about it in the past as well.

Paula needs to go back into the music business since she knows so much about it. We need more number 1 hits like this one:
