I heard this "true" oldies show several years ago on Saturday mornings, and thought that it was no longer on the air. (I thought it was on later in the morning years back, not quite as early, as it is now). Then I rediscovered it this past weekend when I tuned over to WBNW.
Anybody have any info on this show? Has Rick Walker, the host, worked elsewhere? It's not a tightly-formated show, by any stretch of the imagination, and he features, for the most part, only certified hits, but he does sometimes throw in some non-hits as well. The funny thing is that Rick gives the time as though he was on the air in several different time zones (e.g., "it's 20 past the hour"). Gee, I never realized Southbridge, Massachusetts was in a different time zone than Boston!
