I can remember hearing "AT4O" on "great radio stations like" WCGY, WHEB,
and ...trying to remember some of the others. Yes I do remember reading that it
premeiered around July 4th in 1970.

"Okay, I want a (expletive) concerted effort to come out of a record that isn't a (nasty word) up-tempo record everytime I do a (expletive) DEATH dedication! It's the last (sacreligious term) time, I want SOMEBODY to use his (bleepin') brain, to not come out of a (bleeep) record that is, uh, that, that's up-tempo and I gotta talk about a (censored) dog dying!!"

YEAHHHHHHH!

LMAO!!!!!!!

My favorite part of that whole rant is when he just begins:

" He was a little dog named snuggles and he....let's start again, from coming out of the record.........Please........ahem,.....See, you come out of those uptempo god damned numbers, it's hard to make those transitions, and then you gotta talk about somebody dying".

LOL first it just shows how old school he is, refers to the songs as "numbers",......"NUMBERS"..... the guy is sooooo old. I love to hear his rage build throughout the rant until he gets to the end and slams his fist on the board in the backround as he says "I gotta talk about a F-ing DOG DYING"..SLAM!

Just the greatest few minutes in aircheck history, Casey Kasem, unbeatable by anything else, period.

PS Props to Jamie,.."Ponderous man, F-ing Ponderous"

I have to go pull that "tape" right now and listen!

I love that rant, too. Is the full, uncensored version available anywhere for download? I only have the edited version on Negativeland's "U2" EP.

RIP "Snuggles".

Are there any other Casey Kasem out-takes around? I've never heard any other than this one.
