An incredible America's Got Talent season 12 contestant is dead just weeks before getting his chance in the spotlight.

Dr. Brandon Rogers, who wowed audiences with his amazing singing voice, was involved in a car accident in Maryland on Saturday, ET has learned. He was taken to the hospital, where he died on Sunday. He was 29 years old.

Funeral arrangements are currently being made.
