AMP 103.3 is flipping at 10am on 5/28

Looking back and given the numbers that both WROR and WZLX are getting today, should WODS have considered enhancing their classic hits format with more 80s music instead of moving to the Top-40 Amp Radio format?
Now, you have to remember that was 8 years ago. Mix had already purged 6he 80s from their playlist. The 80s music that we are hearing now was not quite en vogue yet either.

The brillliant minds at CBS during the time were thinking why have a popular aging radio formst, when we can bring our national Brand AMP Radio on, and make more money by siphoning younger listeners from Kiss 108 instead? Of course that was short sighted, with the their final numbers being an entire 1.0.

Oh, you mean like WCBS-FM, their New York sister? Of course, but no one at WODS called or emailed me to get my take. Eventually, things apparently got so confused there they even threw out the call letters. SMH.
