AMP RADIO GETTING PROGRAM DIRECTOR

That's Dan Mason, Jr.; daddy is still CEO of CBS Radio (gee, I wonder how he got the WODS gig?) I wonder if Jr. will be holding any water retention contests like he did back in Sacto...
 
@NewsBot A couple things.

- First, Dan Mason wasn't the PD on duty when Wee For A Wii happened. He came in right after, cleaned up the mess that was left, and saved the station from flipping.

- Second, generally I'd make the same joke but this is Mason's first gig with CBS Radio. Every gig before this has been with other companies not run by his father. He has a solid track record... that's why he has the gig.

Don't know the guy. But I know his history.
 
In the case of WODS would it be the PD who decides if and when the station will start using live jocks? It does seem odd that if they intend to have live hosts, that they haven’t been brought in by now.
