AMP stations changing formats?

Anybody got any serious new info on what WLFF and WSHP are going to be in the coming months?

Oops, I almost forgot:
Blah blah bad management blah blah Angotti blah blah blah revolving door for PD's blah blah blah.

I've heard rumors that something may happen by year's end, but whether or not this is in fact true or wishful thinking is anyone's guess.

My source said they're going to finally put the Wolf down {insert canned laughter here} and flip 95.3 to something else.

Any thoughts or solid information to pass along?

Rumor was for quite sometime that it will become X95-3, Lafayette's New Rock Alternative, but I think the Adult Hits format would fare well for AMP Lafayette or maybe even AC, but they would have to learn how to do it first.

agreed lurker, no matter what format it is, it will come from that website. looking at the formats, i could see....

Modern Rock - 95X
AC Pure - Lite 95
BOB - 95.3 BOBFM

Don't forget all the former (insert emotions here) AMP employees. They know how to program the best radio stations in the world.

Been so many through those doors, this actually wouldn't surprise me! Angotti has proven over and over that he doesn't have a clue what real radio talent is.

As for a Modern Rock in Lafayette... I'd love to see it more than anyone! However, I don't want AMP going anywhere near that project. Why? Cause they'll make it suck.

They did pretty well with modern rock before in terms of ratings and the overall quality of the station. Plus, they had Steve Clark and a handful of others that did a superior job making the station sound great. The only problem was the sales team didn't do their part.

If they try modern rock again on 95.7--or place it on 95.3--and choose to go with Waitt, it won't be bad. I heard the Waitt Modern Rock format on WOXY in Cincinnati after 97X was sold, and it was pretty solid with both imaging and music.
